With the Support of Mingachevir State University, a Martyr’s Family Was Visited Within the Framework of the “Stories That Became Legends” Project

Within the framework of the “Stories That Became Legends” project, which won the grant competition announced by the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan as part of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty,” the first visit to a martyr’s family was carried out. The project is implemented with the support of Mingachevir State University and the Sabirabad Youth House.

The main purpose of the project is to strengthen the spirit of patriotism among young people, convey the lives and combat paths of national heroes to future generations, and preserve their memory. Within the framework of this initiative, it is planned to collect the life stories of martyrs, present their heroism as an example for the younger generation, and promote national and moral values.

During the visit organized within the first stage of the project, a meeting was held with the martyr’s family, and memories were shared about the martyr’s life path, devotion to the homeland, and examples of heroism. It was emphasized that such meetings are important not only for sharing memories but also for passing heroic histories on to future generations.

It should be noted that within the next stages of the “Stories That Became Legends” project, visits to other martyr families, the collection of memories, and the organization of awareness-raising meetings for young people are planned. The project aims to contribute to shaping young people in the spirit of patriotism and strengthening their commitment to national values.
