SOCIAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

“Honor Scholarship” Program – Amount: 500 AZN

Eligibility: Undergraduate and master’s degree students enrolled in full-time study at Mingachevir State University may apply.

The applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • have high academic performance in the current semester;
  • have no academic debts;
  • have not received any disciplinary sanctions during the period of study;
  • not receive a state scholarship (if the program is targeted at this group).

“Social Inclusion and Access to Education Scholarship Program” – Amount: 300 AZN

Eligibility: Undergraduate and master’s degree students enrolled in full-time study at Mingachevir State University may apply.

Who can apply:

  • students from low-income families;
  • members of families receiving social assistance;
  • children from large families;
  • individuals deprived of parental care;
  • members of martyr and veteran families;
  • persons with disabilities.

“Special Scholarship Program for Martyr and Veteran Families” – Amount: 300 AZN

Eligibility: Undergraduate and master’s degree students enrolled in full-time study at Mingachevir State University may apply.

Who can apply: Children of martyrs and veterans studying at Mingachevir State University (minimum GPA: 75).

The applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • have high academic performance in the current semester (minimum GPA: 75);
  • have no academic debts;
  • have not received any disciplinary sanctions during the period of study;
  • not receive a state scholarship (if the program is targeted at this group).

“Future Teacher Scholarship Program” – Scholarship Amount: 100 AZN

Eligibility Requirements:Full-time undergraduate students enrolled in teacher education programmes at Mingachevir State University are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Who Can Apply: Students studying in teacher education programmes at Mingachevir State University who met the following admission requirements when entering higher education:

Applicants must satisfy all of the following criteria:

  • Have achieved a score of 500 or higher in the university entrance examination;

  • Have listed a teacher education programme as their first choice during the university admission process;

  • Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a teacher education programme at Mingachevir State University;

Meet any additional requirements of the scholarship programme, where specified in the relevant regulatory documents.


“International Student Scholarship Program” – Scholarship Amount: 150 AZN

Eligibility: International students enrolled in full-time undergraduate or master’s degree programmes at Mingachevir State University are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Who can apply: International (non-Azerbaijani) citizens studying at Mingachevir State University who meet the eligibility requirements.

Applicants must satisfy all of the following criteria:

  • Be an international student (non-Azerbaijani citizen) enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or master’s degree programme at Mingachevir State University;
  • Have achieved a minimum GPA of 90 (or equivalent) in the most recent academic semester;
  • Have no academic debts or failed courses;
  • Have not received any disciplinary sanctions during their period of study at the University;
  • Demonstrate active participation in academic, research, cultural, social, or internationalization activities of the University;
  • Meet any additional requirements specified in the relevant regulations governing the scholarship programme.
