A meeting dedicated to the discussion of the quarterly report of the Sustainable Committee was held at Mingachevir State University. With the participation of the university leadership and representatives of relevant structural units, the meeting focused on reviewing the activities carried out during the reporting period, assessing achieved outcomes, and identifying future priorities in the field of sustainable development.
The meeting was attended by Rector Anar Eminov, the Head of the Quality Assurance and Sustainable Development Department, vice-rectors and advisors, members of the SDG team, as well as heads of structural divisions. The event was regarded as an important platform for strengthening the institutional implementation of sustainability principles and enhancing monitoring mechanisms within the university.
During the meeting, the Team Leader of the MSU SDG team, Azad Mirzabayov, delivered a comprehensive presentation of the final quarterly report. He provided detailed information on implemented projects and initiatives, key achievements, and the current status of the university’s alignment with the SDGs. He also highlighted progress indicators, existing challenges, and areas requiring further improvement.
Following the presentation, participants engaged in an interactive discussion, where questions were addressed and views were exchanged on various aspects of SDG implementation. Particular attention was given to the deeper integration of sustainability principles into teaching, research, and governance processes, the improvement of data collection and reporting systems, and the strengthening of coordination among structural units.
At the conclusion of the meeting, several recommendations were put forward to ensure more effective implementation of the sustainability agenda within the university. Key priority areas for the upcoming quarter were also identified. Mingachevir State University remains committed to a systematic and results-oriented approach, continuing to contribute to the advancement of sustainable development within the higher education sector.
