A regular meeting of the Council of Young Scientists of Mingachevir State University (MSU), dedicated to reviewing the results of the 2025–2026 academic year, was held at the university.
The main purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the Council’s activities throughout the 2025–2026 academic year, assess the outcomes achieved, analyze the results, and determine the priorities and objectives for the upcoming period.
The meeting was opened by the Chair of the Council of Young Scientists, PhD in Economics Saqib Mammadov, who introduced the agenda to the participants. In his speech, he summarized the Council’s activities carried out during the 2025–2026 academic year, evaluated the achievements, and emphasized the significant role of young scientists in advancing the university’s research and innovation agenda.
Following this, Ramil Hasanov, Head of the Scientific Research and Innovation Department of MSU, delivered a presentation on strengthening the university’s research environment, increasing both the quantity and quality of scientific publications and research presented in internationally recognized indexed journals and conferences, expanding scientific collaboration, broadening professional development opportunities for young researchers, and outlining the Council’s key priorities for the next academic period.
During the meeting, the opinions and proposals of the Council members were heard, and an extensive exchange of views took place on improving the effectiveness of young researchers’ scientific activities and implementing new initiatives.
At the end of the meeting, the main directions of the Action Plan for the 2026–2027 academic year were discussed. A number of decisions were adopted to support the academic development of young scientists and further enhance the quality of scientific research at the university.
