A series of initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education, expanding the application of modern teaching technologies, and developing the professional competencies of future specialists continue at Mingachevir State University.
As part of these efforts, the next event was a master class jointly organized by the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Mechanics of Mingachevir State University. The session was delivered by Associate Professor Allaz Haji Ahmad oglu Aliyev, PhD in Technical Sciences, from Azerbaijan Technical University, on the topic “Transportation Safety and the Expansion of Road Infrastructure.”
The master class mainly involved first- and second-year students majoring in Transportation Engineering. Its primary objective was to expand students’ opportunities to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, while enriching their professional understanding of transportation safety, road infrastructure, and engineering approaches.
During the session, participants were informed about the importance of practical knowledge in the field of transportation engineering, the application of modern teaching methods, and the advantages of a student-centered approach. Allaz Aliyev provided detailed explanations on transportation safety issues, analysis of statistical data, the causes of road traffic accidents, and ways to eliminate these causes.
The event proved beneficial in increasing students’ interest in the field of transportation engineering and in shaping a more responsible attitude toward their future professional activities. At the end of the master class, students’ questions were answered, and an exchange of ideas was held around the topic.
