On April 1, 2026, Mingachevir State University (MSU) organized a training session entitled “Research Analytics and Scientific Collaboration: Development Prospects for Mingachevir State University through the Web of Science Platform.”

The training was designed for MSU academic staff and researchers and focused on improving the effectiveness of research activities, strengthening integration into the international scientific community, and enhancing the visibility of research outcomes. A total of 35 academic faculty members participated in the training.

During the event, Khayala Hajiyeva, the official representative of Clarivate and a Customer Success Consultant, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the capabilities of the Web of Science platform. She introduced practical approaches to analyzing scientific data, evaluating research performance, and expanding opportunities for international scientific collaboration through the platform.

The training covered a range of important topics, including analyzing the university’s research profile through the Web of Science platform, identifying reliable scientific research resources, selecting and evaluating appropriate journals for publication, and exploring opportunities for international research collaboration.

Held in an interactive format, the session included a question-and-answer segment, practical demonstrations based on real-life examples, and recommendations on improving the efficiency and quality of research activities.

Such training programs contribute significantly to the development of the research environment at Mingachevir State University by expanding academic staff’s access to international scientific databases, strengthening research capacity, and enhancing the university’s presence on global scientific platforms.
