Session of the 2025/2026 Academic Year Have Been Completed at Mingachevir State University

Preparations for the autumn semester examination session of the 2025/2026 academic year have been completed at Mingachevir State University. In accordance with the relevant order of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the examination session at MSU is scheduled to begin on January 5, 2026.

More than 5,500 undergraduate and graduate students across the university will participate in the autumn examination session. Within the framework of the session, more than 1,300 examinations are planned to be conducted.

The examinations will be organized in written, oral (with video recording), test-based, and pilot written-electronic formats for selected subjects. The electronic examination model will be applied in more than 20 subjects, which represents an important step toward expanding digital assessment mechanisms at the university.

As part of the preparation process for the electronic examination model:

  • Pilot stages of written-electronic examinations were conducted through a special portal;
  • An electronic ticket selection mechanism was implemented;
  • Instructional sessions were organized for examination supervisors and technical staff.

To ensure the transparent and efficient organization of the examinations, an оператив Headquarters, an Examination Center, and an Appeals Commission will operate throughout the session, while all examination processes will be audio and video recorded. In addition, the Hotline number (0-104-103-103) will receive appeals and inquiries from undergraduate and graduate students.

Within the framework of strengthening the material and technical infrastructure:

  • The number of computers across the university has been increased to 493;
  • Four modern examination centers have been established;
  • Internet speed has been upgraded to 350 Mbit/s;
  • Examination halls have been fully equipped with Wi-Fi, cameras, and digital monitoring systems.

The comprehensive measures implemented are intended to ensure that the examination session is conducted objectively, transparently, and in accordance with modern standards.
