On May 16, 2025, Mingachevir State University (MSU) launched a series of STEAM Training sessions at its Incubation and Acceleration Center. The training is delivered by the Center’s active members, Azer Huseyn and Khayala Huseynova, at the university’s STEAM Center. A total of 10 academic faculty members participated in the training.

Opening the event, Elvin Muradzada, Head of the Incubation and Acceleration Center, highlighted the growing importance of STEAM education in today’s world, emphasizing its contribution to developing creativity, innovation, and technological skills. He also spoke about the university’s ongoing initiatives in this field before wishing the participants success and introducing the trainers.

During the first training session, participants were introduced to the operating principles of 3D printers, their practical applications, the software used for 3D printing, and the functional features of the equipment. In the practical session, participants applied their newly acquired knowledge by designing and printing various objects using 3D printing technology.

The primary objective of the training program is to enhance the practical knowledge and technical skills of teachers and students involved in STEAM education while providing opportunities to learn and apply modern technologies. The training series will continue in the coming weeks with additional topics and practical sessions.
