On December 30, 2025, the final meeting of the Scientific Council for 2025 was held at Mingachevir State University. The meeting was attended by Rector Anar Eminov, members of the Scientific Council, and heads of structural divisions of the university.

At the beginning of the meeting, Rector Anar Eminov provided detailed information to the Council members regarding the issues included in the agenda. One of the main topics on the agenda was the discussion of the new structure of MSU and the submission of the structural project to the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Following the discussions, a decision was adopted to submit the structural project to the Ministry in accordance with the relevant procedures.

Afterwards, reports on the state of preparations for the autumn examination session of the 2025/2026 academic year and activities related to the digitalization of training and education at MSU were presented and approved by the Council members.

The meeting continued with the discussion of current issues. Within the framework of these matters, the Regulations on the Organization and Conduct of Industrial Internships for undergraduate students at MSU were approved, and a decision was adopted regarding the establishment of subject-based teaching groups for the spring semester of the 2025/2026 academic year at the Faculty of Engineering. At the same time, the university approved the differential salary instruction, the Science Development Strategy for 2026–2030, and the forecast for scientific research activities.

At the end of the meeting, Rector Anar Eminov congratulated the members of the Scientific Council, the academic staff, employees, undergraduate and graduate students of the university on the occasion of December 31 – Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year Holiday, wishing them success and continuous achievements in their activities in the coming year.
