On 22 December 2025, a seminar titled “Study Abroad and International Scholarship Opportunities” was organized by the Career and Internship Department at Mingachevir State University.
The main purpose of the seminar was to provide students at bachelor’s and master’s levels with systematic and practical information on study abroad opportunities, international scholarship programs, and application procedures. The event also aimed to expand students’ access to quality and inclusive higher education opportunities, contribute to the development of globally competitive human capital, and strengthen sustainable career prospects.
The seminar featured a presentation by Pərviz Məmmədrzayev, Coordinator of the International Relations and Cooperation Department. He spoke in detail about the role of master’s education in career development, the advantages of international academic experience in the labor market, and the importance of building global cooperation networks for both individual and institutional growth. It was emphasized that studying abroad contributes not only to personal success but also to strengthening the country’s intellectual potential and forming a knowledge-based society.
During the seminar, several key topics were discussed, including application procedures for Türkiye scholarships, DAAD programs in Germany and the differences in university admission processes, major scholarship opportunities in Europe and Asia, and professional preparation of application documents such as SOPs and CVs.
Speakers also highlighted the importance of academic achievement, social responsibility, adaptability in multicultural environments, and the development of international cooperation skills. It was noted that international education experience enhances innovative thinking, strengthens research capabilities, and fosters a responsible approach to global challenges.
The event continued in an interactive discussion format, with students’ questions answered and practical guidance provided for those interested in studying abroad. It was noted that such initiatives are part of a long-term and systematic strategy at Mingachevir State University aimed at expanding students’ international mobility opportunities and ensuring their integration into global education and labor markets.
