On October 1, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Board of the Education Quality Assurance Agency (TKTA), Tural Ahmadov, and the Rector of Mingachevir State University (MDU), Anar Eminov.

According to Azerbaijan Teacher, heads of structural units from both TKTA and MDU also participated in the meeting.

The Chairman emphasized that expanding cooperation between TKTA and higher education institutions is crucial for the development of the country’s education system. He highlighted the Agency’s efforts to align quality assurance processes with international standards, noting that this is a key factor in enhancing the competitiveness of higher education institutions.

Rector Anar Eminov, in turn, underlined the importance of the meeting, spoke about MDU’s achievements during the current year, and presented the university’s priority goals for the upcoming year.

During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on current issues in higher education, including the improvement of internal and external quality assurance systems and the strengthening of internationalization.
