On October 29, 2026, a presentation and book signing event for “The Path of Love”, co-authored by Mingachevir State University (MSU) students Afghan Donmez and Nurmammad Ismayilli, was held at Mingachevir Youth House. The event was jointly organized by MSU’s Student Affairs Department, Student Youth Organization and the “Meet Your Book” project.

Bringing together book lovers, young people and literature enthusiasts, the event aimed to support students’ creative potential, promote a culture of reading, engage young people in intellectual and creative activities, and foster an inclusive social environment based on equal opportunities.

During the event, the authors shared their insights into the process of creating the book, its underlying concept, the stages of its development and the key messages they sought to convey to readers. Participants exchanged views with the authors, asked questions about the work and had the opportunity to obtain signed copies of the book.

One of the particularly meaningful aspects of the event was that one of the authors is a young person with a disability. This highlighted the importance of making creative and intellectual activities accessible to everyone and demonstrated that talent and potential are not defined by physical limitations. The joint creative initiative of the authors once again illustrated that diversity is a value and a source of enrichment for society, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and ideas.

The book signing event also highlighted such important issues as inclusion, social equality, the elimination of discrimination, equal opportunities and support for the active participation of every individual in public life. Based on the principle of “Together in Our Differences”, the initiative was significant in promoting mutual respect, empathy, social solidarity and an inclusive mindset among young people.

It should be noted that supporting the comprehensive development of students, unlocking their creative and intellectual potential, fostering an inclusive educational environment based on equal opportunities, and promoting social responsibility are among the priority areas of Mingachevir State University’s activities. Projects and initiatives implemented in this regard contribute to recognizing each student’s individual potential, promoting social integration, encouraging active participation in university life and advancing the values of sustainable development.

MSU will continue to support initiatives aimed at developing an inclusive, equitable and participatory university environment and fostering a society where diversity is embraced and everyone has the opportunity to realize their talents and abilities.
