On October 9, 2026, the Digital Development and Information Technology Centre of Mingachevir State University (MDU) held an awareness-raising meeting for students on digital innovations and the use of the electronic learning platform.

The main purpose of the meeting was to inform students about the digital solutions and electronic learning opportunities available at the university, support the development of their digital skills and help them use learning resources effectively.

The event provided information on innovations introduced as part of the university’s digital transformation, the digitalisation of teaching and learning, and efforts to improve access to electronic resources. It was emphasised that the application of modern information technologies facilitates access to learning materials, enables students to obtain information promptly and expands opportunities for independent learning.

During the meeting, the procedures for using the mdu.digitaledu.az electronic learning platform were explained. Students received information on logging into the platform, using their personal accounts, accessing electronic learning resources and making effective use of the platform’s features.

The importance of using digital learning materials appropriately and developing the skills needed to work with electronic platforms was also highlighted. It was noted that these skills contribute to students’ active participation in the learning process, the organisation of their individual learning activities and broader access to information.

The meeting aimed to improve students’ digital literacy, promote the use of electronic learning services and support the development of an accessible learning environment. The importance of making effective use of digital opportunities to enhance teaching quality and develop lifelong learning skills was highlighted.
