On November 5, 2026, on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of November 8 – Victory Day, a patriotic-themed exhibition was organized at Mingachevir State University (MSU), showcasing the creative potential of young people and their commitment to national and moral values.

Held in the university courtyard, the exhibition featured paintings and various handicrafts created by MSU students and pupils of the Mingachevir City Children and Youth Sports-Chess School.

The main purpose of the exhibition was to preserve the moral legacy of Azerbaijan’s historic Victory in the 44-day Patriotic War through creative forms of expression, strengthen the younger generation’s commitment to national identity and statehood values, and encourage the development of talented young people’s creative abilities and their active participation in social and cultural life.

The works displayed at the exhibition reflected Azerbaijan’s glorious Victory, the heroic traditions of our people, national symbols, love for the Motherland, national unity, and the sacred memory of the martyrs through the diverse creative perspectives of young participants. Presented through the language of colors, artistic imagery, and handicrafts, the compositions demonstrated the special place that the historic Victory holds in the worldview and spiritual memory of the younger generation.

Ilham Ismayilov, Head of the Mingachevir City Executive Authority, Anar Eminov, Rector of Mingachevir State University, and other event participants toured the exhibition and became acquainted with the creative works on display.

The exhibition demonstrated that young people perceive the history of Victory not only as a historical event, but also as a source of national pride, heroism, and moral responsibility. At the same time, the joint participation of schoolchildren and university students highlighted the importance of creative cooperation between different levels of education and the continuity of national and moral values.

Supporting young people’s creative initiatives, revealing their talents, and fostering an inclusive and active educational environment are among the important directions of Mingachevir State University’s student-centered activities. In this regard, the exhibition created a valuable opportunity both for showcasing creative potential and for preserving national historical memory in the cultural and social sphere.

The exhibition, which attracted strong interest from visitors, remained memorable as a creative initiative serving to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, preserve national and moral heritage, and pass the values of Victory on to future generations.
