Students of Mingachevir State University who have participated in international exchange programs have joined a student summer camp organized in the Khachmaz district by the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers, a member organization of the Azerbaijan Confederation of Trade Unions.
Taking place from September 7 to 12, the camp provides students with opportunities not only to spend their leisure time productively, but also to develop their personal and social skills, strengthen teamwork and leadership abilities, and build new friendships and cooperation networks.
Mingachevir State University is represented at the camp by students who actively participate in university life and stand out through various social and community initiatives, as well as students who have gained academic mobility experience at higher education institutions in Türkiye within the framework of the “Orhun Exchange Program.” The participation of students with international exchange experience in the camp is particularly valuable in terms of enabling them to further apply and build upon their international experience in a new social and collaborative environment.
The intellectual, sports, cultural and creative activities organized as part of the camp provide students with opportunities to demonstrate their diverse skills, as well as exchange ideas and experiences with peers from different higher education institutions across the country.
Alongside students’ academic development, Mingachevir State University places particular emphasis on providing them with international experience, enhancing their social engagement, and developing their communication and leadership skills. In this regard, international exchange programs and student camps serve as valuable platforms that enable young people to gain experience in diverse environments, establish new connections, and make effective use of opportunities that support their personal development.
