Rector Anar Eminov meets with students who participated in an exchange programme in Turkic World countries

On August 27, 2026, Rector of Mingachevir State University Anar Eminov met with 10 students who had completed one semester of study at higher education institutions in Turkic World countries במסגרת an international exchange programme and had returned to the University.

During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on the experience gained by the students through international academic mobility, the new knowledge and skills they acquired, as well as the opportunities they encountered during their studies at foreign higher education institutions.

Rector Anar Eminov noted that student exchange programmes play an important role in the academic and personal development of young people, creating broad opportunities to become familiar with different educational environments, learn new approaches, and establish international connections. Emphasizing that the University encourages students to participate in international programmes, the Rector stated that cooperation with higher education institutions across the Turkic World and student mobility would continue to be further developed.

The students shared their impressions of the exchange programme and provided information about the higher education institutions where they studied, the educational process, and the academic and social activities in which they participated. They noted that studying alongside students from different countries, becoming familiar with diverse academic approaches, and learning about new cultures firsthand had been highly beneficial for them.

During the meeting, Rector Anar Eminov stated that the 10 students who participated in the exchange programme would be encouraged to take a more active role in the University’s public and social life. He noted that making use of their international experience and observations would be valuable for developing the student environment, organizing various activities, and supporting student initiatives at the University.

It was noted that the students benefited from these opportunities within the framework of the Orhun Exchange Programme, studying for one semester at higher education institutions in various countries of the Turkic World.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on expanding student mobility, increasing students’ awareness of international educational opportunities, and ensuring the more active integration of students participating in exchange programmes into university life.
