Mingachevir State University will organize a large-scale environmental action on September 20, World Cleanup Day, under the slogan “Towards a Greener and Cleaner Future.”

The initiative aims to promote environmental protection, raise ecological awareness, and support the principles of sustainable development. University staff, students, and volunteers will actively participate in cleanup activities across the university campus and the city.

The following activities are planned as part of the action:

▶️ Collection of waste across the campus and designated areas of the city;
▶️ Sorting of collected waste and directing recyclable materials for recycling;
▶️ Tree planting and greening activities;
▶️ Implementation of the “Zero Waste Campus” initiative with the participation of student volunteers;
▶️ Preparation of a report on the quantity and types of collected waste;
▶️ Coordinated activities in cooperation with local institutions.

The university community, students, and environmentally conscious young people are invited to actively participate in this meaningful initiative.
