On July 24, 2026, a Job Fair was held in Mingachevir, organized by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, with the support of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Mingachevir City Executive Power. As the region’s leading education and human capital center, Mingachevir State University (MSU) actively participated in the event.

Aiming to boost regional employment opportunities and promote workforce training aligned with labor market demands, the fair featured over 100 job vacancies and internship programs presented by more than 20 public and private sector enterprises. MSU students, alumni, and academic staff engaged directly with employers, analyzed current labor market trends, and explored career prospects.

MSU’s integration into such platforms is a key component of its strategy to strengthen university-industry partnerships, foster decent employment opportunities for students, and advance sustainable human capital development. University leadership and representatives exchanged views with employers on prospective collaborations, internship programs, and joint future projects.
