On July 23–24, 2026, an educational and cultural visit to the liberated territories was organized for a group of employees of Mingachevir State University (MSU) to enhance staff well-being, facilitate meaningful leisure time for academic faculty, and strengthen social solidarity.
During the visit, MSU staff visited the cities of Khankendi, Shusha, and Lachin. They gained firsthand insight into the large-scale restoration and reconstruction efforts underway in the region, the revitalization of historical and cultural heritage, and measures implemented to protect the local environment. Participants gathered rich impressions as they explored Lachin’s breathtaking nature, Shusha’s historical and cultural monuments, and the ongoing reconstruction processes in Khankendi.
Such initiatives represent a vital component of MSU’s strategy focused on human capital development, supporting the mental and psychological well-being of the academic staff, and fostering a healthy, sustainable work environment built on shared values. Combining natural beauty with rich cultural heritage, this trip served to enhance team spirit within the collective while ensuring high-quality, value-driven leisure time for employees.
MSU plans to continue implementing projects aimed at enhancing the social well-being of its faculty, organizing healthy leisure activities, and driving the sustainable development of its internal corporate environment.
