On 22 July 2026, Rector of Mingachevir State University (MSU), Anar Eminov, met with Ceren Kepenek, a student at Dokuz Eylül University in the Republic of Türkiye.

As part of an international internship programme, Ceren Kepenek will undertake her internship at MSU’s Department of International Relations and Cooperation. During the internship, she is expected to gain first-hand experience of the University’s international cooperation activities, the establishment of relations with partner higher education institutions, the organisation of academic mobility programmes, and the implementation of international projects.

During the meeting, Rector Anar Eminov congratulated Ceren Kepenek on her participation in the international internship programme and wished her success throughout her internship at MSU. The Rector noted that such programmes make an important contribution to the development of students’ professional competencies, global outlook, and experience of working in diverse academic environments.

Anar Eminov emphasised the importance of further strengthening the existing cooperation between higher education institutions in Azerbaijan and Türkiye through student and staff exchanges, joint projects, and reciprocal internship programmes.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on the activities Ceren Kepenek will carry out as part of the internship programme, her introduction to the University’s structural units, and her participation in international cooperation processes. Ceren Kepenek expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to undertake an internship at MSU and stated that she was confident the programme would contribute significantly to her academic and professional development.

It should be noted that international internship programmes contribute to expanding MSU’s relations with partner universities, promoting cultural and academic exchange among students, and strengthening the University’s internationalisation environment.
