Shafa Hunbatova, a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of Mingachevir State University (MSU), participated in the 9th ADA International Education Conference, held at ADA University on 29–30 June 2026.
Dedicated to the theme “Teaching and Learning in the Era of Pedagogical Transformation,” the conference brought together scholars, researchers, educators, and educational leaders from Azerbaijan and abroad to discuss current trends and innovations in education.
On the first day, within the framework of the pre-conference workshops, the MSU lecturer attended training sessions delivered by Dr. Vafa Yunusova on “Adaptive Leadership for Complex Educational Environments” and Dr. Samira Hajiyeva on “Leadership in Action: Exploring the Full Range of Leadership.” She also participated in sessions devoted to academic writing and international research publication strategies.
The second day featured plenary sessions and panel discussions focusing on pedagogical transformation in higher education, the integration of artificial intelligence into teaching and learning, educational leadership, curriculum development, and assessment practices.
The knowledge and experience gained during the conference are expected to contribute to the further improvement of teaching and learning, the enhancement of scientific and pedagogical activities, and the wider implementation of innovative teaching methodologies at Mingachevir State University.
The active participation of MSU academic staff in international academic events supports the University’s internationalization strategy and the continuous professional development of its faculty.
