On June 1, 2026, the examination session for the spring semester of the 2025/2026 academic year commenced at Mingachevir State University (MSU).

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education, ensure transparency, and expand the implementation of international assessment practices, the Cambridge University international assessment model has been fully introduced in English language examinations during the current examination session.

Under the new approach, students’ language competencies are assessed comprehensively. The examinations include Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking components, enabling an objective evaluation of students’ communication, comprehension, and expression skills in a foreign language. This model contributes to the development of a student-centered learning environment, promotes outcome-based education, and supports the acquisition of competencies aligned with international standards.

All necessary preparations have been completed to ensure the transparent, objective, and efficient organization of the examination session through the use of modern technological resources. The university administration places particular emphasis on maintaining high-quality examination procedures, upholding the principles of academic integrity, and ensuring the fair assessment of students’ knowledge and skills.

The spring semester examination session at MSU will continue until July 3, 2026. A total of 1,013 examinations are scheduled to be administered during the session.

It should be noted that the continuous improvement of the educational process in accordance with international standards, the implementation of innovative assessment mechanisms, and the development of students’ competencies in line with the demands of the global labor market remain among the key strategic priorities of Mingachevir State University.
