Students of Mingachevir State University Visit Mingachevir State Art Gallery

On November 27, 2025, students of the IS23.1 group studying at the Faculty of Pedagogy of Mingachevir State University, under the guidance of lecturers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Nadir Rasulov and Aytakin Karimova, took part in an educational excursion to the Mingachevir State Art Gallery located in Mingachevir city. The excursion was organized under the theme “Diverse Perspectives in a Society.”

The purpose of the excursion was to enhance students’ knowledge in the field of fine arts, develop their aesthetic taste, and familiarize them closely with the works of local artists.

During the visit, paintings and decorative-applied art works created in various genres were presented at the gallery. Students received information about the themes of the artworks, their compositional structure, color solutions, and conceptual content. Discussions were also held on the exhibited works, and students had the opportunity to freely express their opinions.

The gallery environment helped strengthen students’ aesthetic perception, foster a more sensitive approach to art, and broaden their artistic thinking. At the same time, open discussions and analysis of the artworks increased students’ self-confidence and contributed to the development of their critical and analytical thinking skills.

In conclusion, it can be noted that the organized excursion was both beneficial and educational for the students, and it is considered appropriate to continue organizing similar activities in the future.
