On 8 November 2026, the academic and administrative staff, as well as students of Mingachevir State University (MSU), visited the Martyrs’ Alley in Mingachevir on the occasion of 8 November – Victory Day.

During the visit, the cherished memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty was honoured with profound respect, and flowers were laid on their graves.

The martyrs’ devotion to their homeland and selflessness live on forever in the national memory of our people. Their heroism serves as an example of great moral significance in fostering patriotism among the younger generation and strengthening their commitment to national unity and the values of statehood.

The Mingachevir State University community commemorates with deep respect and reverence the cherished memory of all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland and prays for Allah’s mercy upon them.
