During the 2026–2027 academic year, Mingachevir State University (MSU) implemented an additional support measure to improve access to higher education for students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds and families with limited financial resources.
In line with the University’s commitment to social responsibility and equal educational opportunities, students experiencing financial difficulties have been given the opportunity to complete the registration process and commence their studies by paying only 50% of their tuition fees at the initial stage.
The primary objective of this initiative is to prevent young people from low-income families from being excluded from higher education due to financial constraints and to reduce the economic burden they face during university admission and the commencement of their studies.
The support mechanism eliminates the requirement for students to pay the full annual tuition fee at the time of registration, allowing payments to be made in stages. This measure helps students begin their studies on time, regardless of their immediate financial circumstances, and reinforces MSU’s commitment to inclusive, accessible, and equitable higher education.
