At Mingachevir State University, an Information Day titled “Global Knowledge Flow and Sustainable Partnership within the Orhun Exchange Program” was organized, focusing on student and academic staff mobility.

The main purpose of the event was to present the opportunities of the “Orhun Exchange Program” to students and faculty members of the university and to raise awareness in the field of academic mobility and international cooperation.

Speaking at the event, Pərviz Məmmədrzayev, Coordinator of the International Relations and Cooperation Department, highlighted the contribution of the “Orhun Exchange Program” to the expansion of cooperation in higher education across the Turkic world. He noted that the program was established to create a common higher education space among Turkic countries and has been operating since 2017.

It was emphasized that through the program, student and staff exchanges are implemented between universities in Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Hungary. Within the framework of the program, students have the opportunity to study at partner universities for one semester, integrate into a new academic environment, develop intercultural communication skills, and gain diverse teaching and learning experiences. At the same time, academic staff mobility contributes to improving the quality of education by strengthening the exchange of academic experience.

Following the presentation, participants’ questions were answered, and an interactive Q&A session was held on application procedures, selection criteria, and mobility opportunities within the program.

The event once again emphasized global knowledge exchange, academic mobility, and long-term partnership as key priorities in higher education, aligning with efforts to improve quality, expand opportunities, and strengthen cooperation networks. Mingachevir State University continues to prioritize the expansion of student and staff mobility within international partnership initiatives and encourages its academic community to actively benefit from such opportunities.
