STUDENT YOUTH ORGANIZATION

The Student Youth Organization (SYO) of Mingachevir State University is a student body that operates based on the common interests of students and the principles of volunteerism. The organization supports the protection of students’ rights and interests, promotes their intellectual and personal development, and encourages active participation in the social and academic life of the university. It also contributes to the effective organization of students’ leisure time and strengthens cooperation and interaction among student groups and faculties.

OUR MISSION

The main mission of the Student Youth Organization is to represent and protect the interests of students within the framework of the state youth policy. The organization aims to support the active involvement of students in the social, cultural, and academic life of the university and society, while creating opportunities for their personal and professional development.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring the protection of students’ rights and interests.
• Addressing and assisting in the resolution of students’ problems.
• Conducting awareness and educational initiatives among students.
• Organizing students’ leisure time in a productive and engaging way.
• Studying students’ needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
• Establishing clubs, courses, and other initiatives to support students’ interests, talents, and intellectual development.
• Organizing competitions, seminars, festivals, forums, meetings, exhibitions, campaigns, round tables, scientific conferences, training programs, discussion clubs, symposiums, meetings with distinguished personalities, and other student-centered events.
