The closing event of the “Successors of Heydar Aliyev’s Legacy – Ambassadors of the Constitution” project, a winner of the individual grant competition announced by the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty,” was successfully held.
The final event took place at the Mingachevir Youth House. During the event, participants were presented with an overview of the project’s activities, educational training sessions, and key achievements. It was emphasized that the project’s primary objectives were to enhance young people’s knowledge of the Constitution, promote legal awareness, strengthen understanding of national sovereignty and statehood, and foster civic responsibility.
During the event, Project Manager Elman Shahvaladov delivered a presentation outlining the project’s implementation stages, objectives, and achievements. He noted that the project had made a significant contribution to developing young people’s legal awareness, strengthening their commitment to constitutional values, and encouraging active citizenship.
Throughout the project, a series of educational training sessions explored the outstanding role of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the principles of building a democratic state governed by the rule of law, the legal foundations of national sovereignty, and the constitutional rights and responsibilities of citizens. Conducted in an interactive format, the sessions encouraged active participation and meaningful discussion among young people.
As part of the project’s final phase, an intellectual competition was organized in accordance with the activity plan. Participants demonstrated their knowledge and skills by answering questions related to the Constitution, statehood, and legal issues. The competition also promoted teamwork, healthy competition, and collaborative learning among the participants.
Based on the competition results, the winning team was awarded a championship trophy and medals during the closing ceremony, marking the official completion of the project.
To ensure the sustainability of the project’s outcomes, an active youth team was established from among the participants. As part of this initiative, the “Constitution Ambassadors Club” was founded under the Student Youth Organization of Mingachevir State University (MSU). The Club will continue promoting constitutional values, legal awareness, and civic education among young people through future educational and awareness-raising activities.
