Training on the use of interactive teaching tools held for academic staff at MSU

On 21 October 2026, Mingachevir State University (MSU) held a training session on the operation and use of interactive teaching tools to develop academic staff’s digital skills and promote the effective application of modern technologies in teaching.

Organised by the university’s Centre for Digital Development and Information Technologies, the training provided detailed information on the technical capabilities, key functions and classroom applications of interactive tools. Instructions were given on displaying teaching materials, presenting electronic resources and organising work with visual materials.

The training highlighted the role of digital technologies in making lessons clearer and more visually engaging, ensuring students’ active participation and creating a learning environment based on interaction. The importance of purposeful use of interactive tools in expanding teaching opportunities that accommodate diverse learning needs and improving the quality of education was emphasised.

Participants received recommendations on the proper use of equipment, effective use of its functions and basic identification of technical difficulties that may arise during teaching. Academic staff’s questions were answered, and points requiring attention during practical use were clarified.

The training was significant in supporting academic staff’s professional development, ensuring the efficient use of existing technological infrastructure and expanding the application of electronic teaching resources. Activities undertaken in this area contribute to the development of MSU’s digital learning environment, the wider adoption of innovative teaching approaches and the strengthening of opportunities for student-centred, quality education.
