Increasing students’ physical activity, promoting healthy lifestyle habits, and strengthening social integration in university life are among the key priorities of MDU’s student-centred activities. In this regard, organizing sporting competitions helps students make effective use of their leisure time, develop leadership and teamwork skills, and foster an inclusive and active student environment at the university.
Modernizing the university’s existing sports infrastructure and expanding opportunities for its use are important for encouraging students to participate in sporting activities. Improving conditions for the effective use of sports and health facilities can contribute to supporting students’ physical activity, increasing opportunities to participate in sporting events, and promoting a healthy university environment.
MDU continues to prioritize initiatives aimed at supporting the comprehensive development of young people, enhancing their initiative and social engagement, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Such initiatives contribute to the university’s sustainable development, the improvement of student well-being, and the development of a more active, healthy, and collaborative campus environment.
