Mingachevir State University (MDU) continues its awareness-raising activities aimed at increasing students’ awareness of healthy lifestyles, developing human capital, and promoting social well-being.
On October 15, 2026, a training seminar for students on “Healthy Lifestyle and the Development of Human Capital” was delivered by Sadiq Aliyev, a lecturer at MDU’s Department of Economics.
The main objective of the seminar was to expand students’ knowledge of the role of a healthy lifestyle in human capital development and its connection with individual well-being and the socioeconomic progress of society.
During the training, the key principles of a healthy lifestyle and the impact of maintaining good health on labor productivity, academic achievement, and professional success were discussed. It was also emphasized that health is a key component of human capital and that fostering healthy and knowledgeable individuals is important for long-term economic development and social well-being.
The seminar highlighted that promoting a healthy lifestyle involves not only individual responsibility but also awareness-raising, informed health-related choices, and a supportive social environment. It was noted that this approach contributes to fostering a culture of health among students and encouraging responsible decision-making regarding personal development.
Through such awareness-raising initiatives, Mingachevir State University supports efforts to increase students’ awareness of healthy lifestyles, develop human capital, and promote social responsibility. The university continues its activities aimed at the comprehensive development of young people and strengthening their personal and professional potential.
