On 8 October 2026, a meeting over tea was held with alumni who had studied at Mingachevir State University in various years, jointly organised by the university’s Internship and Career Department and the Department of Business and Alumni Relations.

Held in a warm and informal atmosphere, the meeting aimed to strengthen ties with the university’s alumni, encourage their participation in university life and discuss opportunities for future cooperation.

The meeting highlighted the importance of maintaining ongoing interaction between alumni and the university and drawing on their professional experience and knowledge to support the university’s development and students’ career preparation. It was emphasised that such meetings contribute to preserving alumni’s connection with the university, bringing them together within a unified alumni network and creating new opportunities for cooperation.

The initiative forms part of Mingachevir State University’s efforts to organise systematic engagement with alumni, develop its alumni network and further strengthen university–alumni relations. This approach also serves to establish long-term partnerships between the higher education institution and its alumni, involve them in the university’s development processes and make effective use of their potential.

During the meeting, which took the form of an open dialogue, alumni shared their impressions of the university, received answers to their questions and presented their suggestions.

It should be noted that Mingachevir State University plans to continue its efforts to expand alumni relations, support their professional development and establish cooperation platforms that can contribute to the university’s development.
