A training session on “Introduction to SPSS” was held at Mingachevir State University with the aim of developing scientific research skills and strengthening the statistical analysis capacities of the academic staff.

Organized by the Department of Scientific Research and Innovation of MSU, the training was intended for university staff members. The session was conducted online via the Zoom platform and delivered by Professor Savaş Artuğer of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University.

During the training, participants were provided with theoretical and practical information on the main features of SPSS, a widely used software for conducting statistical analyses in scientific research. The session covered data entry and processing, statistical analysis methods, interpretation of results, and the application of the software in the research process.

As part of the interactive training, participants’ questions were answered, and the effective use of SPSS in improving the quality of scientific activity was discussed.

It should be noted that Mingachevir State University continues to implement systematic measures aimed at strengthening its scientific research potential, enhancing the academic staff’s skills in using modern digital tools, and developing a research-based university model.
