Winners of the “Urban Vision Mingachevir 2026” Hackathon Awarded at Mingachevir State University

An award ceremony for the winners of the “Urban Vision Mingachevir 2026” startup hackathon, held within the framework of the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture,” took place at Mingachevir State University. The event was organized by the university’s Lifelong Learning School with the support of partner organizations.

It should be noted that during the hackathon held on March 4, 2026, university students presented 28 startup projects. The projects covered areas such as smart city solutions, artificial intelligence, ecological sustainability, energy efficiency, and social innovations.

According to the decision of the jury, the “VoltVision” team won first place, while “SmartKür” and “Enactus” were awarded second place. The “Helpex” and “Ecogrid” teams secured third place.

During the ceremony, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee Elchin Tagiyev presented certificates and gifts to the winning teams. Director of the Lifelong Learning School Vafa Maharramova and department head Alvin Muradzada delivered speeches highlighting the significance of the projects.

The “Urban Vision Mingachevir 2026” hackathon plays an important role in revealing the innovative potential of young people, contributing to the sustainable development of the urban environment, and strengthening cooperation among the university, the city, and the private sector.
