Mingachevir State University (MSU) has established the Center for Environmental Sustainability and Climate Action to strengthen scientific activities in environmental protection, climate action, and sustainable development. The establishment of the Center was approved by Decision No. 73 of the Academic Council dated 5 March 2026.

The Center will conduct research on renewable energy, water resource management, waste management, climate change, and green technologies while supporting student engagement in practical environmental activities and expanding international cooperation.
