Students and faculty of Mingachevir State University (MSU) organized a scientific expedition on “Sustainable Agriculture and Agroecological Approaches” to carry out practical research. As part of the expedition, participants visited the “Icra Baglari” private farm located in Agdash district.

The expedition was organized by the Department of Physics and Ecology and included students and faculty members of the Ecology and Biology programs. During the visit, students gained hands-on experience with crop cultivation, efficient use of soil and water resources, and methods to minimize environmental impact.

The farm’s director, agronomist and farmer Elvin Atakişiyev, conducted a seminar on “Agrotechnical Care for Agricultural Crops and Orchards,” providing students with practical guidance and insights on modern agricultural technologies and sustainable farming practices.

The expedition offered students the opportunity to apply their scientific knowledge in the field, explore agroecological challenges, and gain practical experience in sustainable agriculture. Mingachevir State University emphasized that such initiatives play a crucial role in fostering the professional development of young researchers and increasing their engagement in scientific activities.
