Mingachevir State University announces a competition for academic staff for the 2026–2027 academic year in order to attract highly qualified, professional and innovative academic personnel who meet the modern challenges of higher education to teaching and research activities. The competition covers vacant professor, associate professor, senior lecturer and lecturer positions available across the university’s faculties and departments.
Total number of vacant positions: 131 vacancies, including 8 professor, 22 associate professor, 36 senior lecturer and 65 lecturer positions.

Main requirements for candidates:
- Compliance with the requirements of the Regulation on filling academic staff positions at higher education institutions (https://e-qanun.az/framework/10306);
- At least a master’s degree in the relevant specialty (an academic title and academic degree are considered an advantage);
- Academic-pedagogical activity and practical/industry experience;
- Ability to use modern teaching methods, digital education platforms and innovative teaching technologies, as well as active engagement in scientific activity;
- Student-centered approach, effective communication, presentation and classroom management skills;
- Knowledge and skills in preparing course programs, syllabi, teaching materials and assessment tools;
- Commitment to academic ethics and the university’s corporate values.
A candidate’s active engagement in scientific research, as well as the publication of articles in high-indexed international and local scientific journals, will be considered an advantage.

- Documents confirming higher education, academic title and academic degree; (Candidates educated abroad must also submit diploma nostrification documents)
- Certified list of published scientific works, discoveries and inventions;
- Syllabus for a course in the relevant field/area.
