On 24 October 2025, the “Regional University–Industry Partnership Summit 2025” was successfully held through the joint organization of Mingachevir State University, “HBN Group,” and the Azerbaijan–Türkiye Businessmen Association (ATIB). The main partner of the event was the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM), while “Job in Global” acted as the silver sponsor.

The summit, held at the “Arena Hotel Kür,” began with a minute of silence in memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs, followed by the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the “Zəfər Sədası” children’s choir. The State Flag and the university flag were then brought into the venue.

Opening the event, the Rector of MSU, Anar Eminov, emphasized that the summit is an important platform for strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and industry in the regions, increasing youth employment opportunities, and enhancing innovation potential. He noted that the “Region to Global” concept positions Mingachevir as a strategic center for the integration of science, education, and industry.

According to him, the summit involved 110 public and private institutions presenting 683 vacancies and 787 internship programs. In addition, around 90 startup projects were evaluated and awarded by the jury. He highlighted that the event serves not only as a bridge between education and labor market needs but also as a key platform for developing regional innovation ecosystems.

Speakers including representatives of government agencies, industry leaders, and partner organizations emphasized the importance of university–industry collaboration for sustainable economic development, digital transformation, and human capital growth. The event also featured the signing of multiple cooperation memoranda between MSU and various national institutions, aimed at expanding joint projects, internships, and research initiatives.

The summit also hosted a Career Fair with participation from over 110 organizations across different sectors, including finance, manufacturing, logistics, consulting, tourism, media, and public services. Students and company representatives held direct meetings to explore employment and internship opportunities.

Additionally, the “UniStartup” competition showcased around 90 startup projects from students and young researchers, which were evaluated by experts from innovation and investment organizations.
