On November 13, 2025, a Collective Agreement concerning the joint obligations of the parties in the field of protecting employees’ labor, social, and economic rights and legitimate interests was signed between Mingachevir State University and the university’s Trade Union Committee.

The agreement was signed by Rector of Mingachevir State University Anar Eminov and Chairman of the university’s Trade Union Committee Elchin Taghiyev. Vusal Aliyev, Advisor-Secretary to the Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Science and Education Workers, also participated in the signing ceremony.

The new agreement, covering the years 2025–2027, ensures the principles of social partnership between the parties and guarantees the protection of the labor, socio-economic, and other rights and interests of university employees.

As part of the collective agreement, the obligations of the university and the committee include implementing measures aimed at the efficient organization of employees’ leisure time in the fields of culture and sports, as well as supporting their physical and moral development.

During the meeting, discussions were also held on providing teachers with opportunities to make effective use of rest and health benefits during their vacations, including organizing trips to various recreation and resort areas across the country and arranging discounted stays at sanatoriums and recreation centers.

It should be noted that the signing of the new Collective Agreement aims to regulate labor relations at Mingachevir State University, strengthen the social protection of employees, and promote a healthy working environment at the university.
