Scientific Conference of the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Engineering Held at MDU within the Framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty”

On November 14, 2025, a scientific conference of the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Engineering was held at Mingachevir State University within the framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty,” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event, organized in the assembly hall of the university’s second academic building, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Almaz Aliyeva, members of the academic-administrative staff, and students. The conference was remembered for its sincere scientific discussion atmosphere.

During the event, presentations covering various engineering fields were delivered, followed by discussions on the topics presented.

  • Ziynet Mahmudova — “Main Directions for Regulating Sustainable Ecological Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan”
  • Shams Ibrahimova — “Artificial Intelligence and Legal Regulation in Digital Governance”
  • Gulchin Gaffarzada — “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Environmental Security”
  • Aytac Isayeva — “Application of LiDAR and Computer Vision Technologies in National Security Systems”

The conference was of great importance in terms of increasing students’ interest in scientific research activities in the field of engineering, developing their analytical thinking, and expanding opportunities for academic discussions on technological innovations. Students conducted productive exchanges of ideas on the topics they presented.

It should be noted that various scientific, social, and educational events within the framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty” continue consistently at Mingachevir State University.
